SUMMARY

In 1997, armed violence besieged the communities of the lower Atrato. Thousands of families were forced to abandon their homes and set out on a long journey to protect themselves from the attacks. In this episode Anita tells us about the losses, risks, uncertainties and the abandonment that they felt during this experience of massive displacement.
